Kota the Triceratops touch sensitive

Kota the Triceratops is both touch and sound sensitive. This is what makes this baby dinosaur so special... he will react to both movement and sound. This makes him feel "alive".

For example, if you child goes into a room where Kota is resting, he will jump to live, moving his head, eyes and making a mini dino roar to greet your child.

Also if you decide you want to play music, Kota will join in the carnival fun. You can read all about Kota's touch & sound sentivity in our review.

Maximum child weight for Kota

With Kota the Triceratops aimed at kids over the age of 3 years old and up to 6, a popular question is how much weight Kota the Triceratops can hold?

At the moment, Playskool are saying that the maximum child weight to ride the Kota should be no more than 80 lbs. For those that are in Europe, that equates to about 36 kgs.

We strongly recommend that you weigh your child first before buying Kota to ensure that he or she can play on Kota for some time to come.

Kota the Triceratops fuel

Kota the Triceratops uses 6 x D Batteries. You could use rechargable ones if you have a battery charger thats big enough to house this baby dinosaurs fuel.

Were still amazed that a robot dinosaur can run on just batteries!

The great news, as we highlighted in our review is that Kota the Triceratops can sing alone and move his head for hours and hours with no sign of the batteries running out any time soon.

Kota the Triceratops 4 different songs

We have had loads of emails recently asking about Kota's inbuilt music system. The top question at the moment is what songs does this baby dinosaur sing.

Kota the Triceratops has 4 impressive new tunes that including the popular "all aboard for a dino ride" tune. All the songs are easy to remember and in no time you and your child will be humming along to Kota's jukebox.

You can find information on Kota tunes in our Kota the Triceratops review.

Kota the Triceratops Box

Following on from our recent story on how to wrap Kota the Triceratops, we thought it would be a great idea to show what the Kota box looks like.

The box itself is completely square which makes it easy to both carry and wrap. We love how bright and fun the Kota the Triceratops box is and so will your child when they open theirs on Christmas day.
